selamat pengantin baru

percaya tak kalau ada satu couple ni jalan2 kat OU pakai baju pengantin full set? yg pompuan tu pakai baju pink mcm kebaya dgn all those labuci2, siap dgn selendang. the guy pakai baju melayu pink jugak, full set - with sampin n kopiah. seb baik takde keris! ^__^

yes, it happened for real - on saturday 19 jan 08. siapa2 yg tgh jalan2 kat OU old wing sure nampak nye!

org2 yg lalu sume made a point utk tgk diorang (almost sume la). ada yg bitau kengkawan. ada yg siap finger point. ada yg gelak2, yg stopped to stare, yg mengumpat, yg cakap selamat pengantin baru! mostly the malays yg tgk twice. the chinese mostly tgk for a few seconds, then just went on.

so how did i know what everybody did? i went there accompanying biah, who was supposed to observe everybody's reaction. ngaha. but um, i did a bit of a "chaos" to the project. firstly, biah n i were late. they waited for us lama gila to start the thingy. so the pengantin jus lingered around the surau while waiting.

another minus point - biah n i were both wearing jubah. the other 3 kakaks who was supposed to observe pun pakai tudung labuh + jubah seluar. so what did 5 "alim" uni students doing in OU that was full of chinese shopping for CNY, with the pengantin not very far from them? yes, somebody did suspect. when asked, i said i had nothing to do with them, but i am 100% sure that the kakak yg suspect tu tak percaya. >_<

pastu ada one part yg i pegi ckp kuat2 (u know how loud my voice can be!!!!) about the pengantin heading towards the surau. my gosh. pastu ada yg dengar!! worst still, it was the kakak who suspected earlier. UGH! what a timing!!! i am sooo embarrassed. very. very. very embarrassed.

after about 1 hour of window shopping, the pengantin's acting was over. the team members started asking question to the pass-by-ers. but the feedback werent very great i guess. but entahlah. i only asked a few ppl - n they simply answered one or two sentences. ngeh.

to me, overall the project wasnt really a success. if i were to help again in a similar belakoning thingy like this - including those other than for a psychology project, i'd come up with suggestions for improvement. these kind of project needs detailed planning to be a succes, and also needs experience on mistakes done in similar projects.

but no, i dont think i would ever want to volunteer myself to become the "actress". lol. hem, on second thought, maybe it will be interesing after all... hem, do u think you can pull off such act?
