empty promises. empty promises.
at first you're mad. you blame ppl. you blame yourself. and eventually there would come a time when you are too used to it, u accept it readily as a fact.
there too are times when you 100% know that its not gonna happen, but, deep down in your heart, there's a tiny glimpse of hope, a hope that it'll come true - just like a dream come true - when knowing that the promise wont go through. no matter how often it happens, you still feel the pinch.
worst: from the moment the speaker opens his mouth, you already know that it's not even a promise - some call it empty talk, but you still put in hope.
stupid as it seems,
but it comes when its most unexpected.
at the end of the day, you still learn though. you learn how to say a 'yes' that does not go through that wall. you bury the door key deep deep down in the soil. you mark the spot with a small white stone, so that no one notices it, so that you yourself cant simply dig out the key, and so that you are not reminded of it every time you pass by those grounds.
|| dont hope on empty promises, empty talks. it'll never be fulfilled. and you know that the Supreme Power makes no empty promise and never breaks any promise. hold on to that. you'll never get hurt again. ||
but of course we human beings want things to materialise only the way we want it to be. and sometimes we're just not conscious of the Unseen, we forget.
