today i decided to get to college later than usual, thus was hurrying from the moment i got onto the train. the thing was, i had to squeeze in some time to top-up my touch n go, coz had i decided to just buy a ticket, i'd be queuing a loong line on my way back from college.
it wasnt my luck coz the lady in front of me had some complications topping up her card. and so i had to wait for a bit more - leaning against a wall. there was a guy behind be who seemed to be waiting patiently unlike me, who was getting restless.
suddenly another lady simply came up and stood right beside me, erm, actually nearer to the lady in front, than i was. i knew she saw me queuing, but that didnt seem to bother her. while waiting, i gave her hints that i too was in a hurry by glancing at my watch each and every second.
then our turn came. she quickly rushed to talk to the person at the counter, but i cut her in. i tried to be as polite as possible and i went "em, saya dulu boleh? saya pun nak cepat ni" which was 100% true. and guess what she did? she gave me that annoyed, no, that infuriated look, like i was the one cutting in the line. and what made it worst was that the person at the counter too, acted like i was the one guilty.
no, i wasnt mad or anything, but what had caused such people to act in such way? could it have been that she was thinking that she was hurrying kazillion times more than the other ppl queuing? or could she be thinking that i was younger (coz i was holding the lecture notes in my hand), and thus i should give way? or could it be that she knew the lady in queue, thus thought that she had the priority to go first? (like tumpang-ing at her friend)
or could i be the one guilty in the first place? like she came first, but had to go to the tandas urgently. but yeah, looking back, i know i should give way, no matter what the reason was. right?
hoho, it was only in the recent post that i said i wanted to try n not think about people. well, this doesnt count to a certain extent, coz i was just wondering WHY? and maybe if it was answered, i'd just give way w/o any doubt next time....

i think it was wrong for her to cut you AND glared at you. i think she shud've tld u her reason in a nicely manner. kan2?
