never NEVER give up

after several times of unsuccessful attempts faxing over documents to UK, i became impatient. the line was so busy. after sometime, i tried again and managed to get through. but somehow after sending 2 pages, it went off hook and and there was a line error twice. T_T the urgent documents were again not sent, i decided to try again later.

i expressed my frustration over the dining table, and this was what my 8 year old brother responded "you know, my teacher once said: the key to success is to never give up" or was he referring to someone else? but regardless, he's got a point.

my first reaction was: it's not like i can give up even if i want to, i got no choice. it's not that i can simply not fax this thing over.

which was true. a lot of people come to a point where they are sick and tired and exhausted of some things or some ways, but even if they want to give up, circumstances do not allow. they have no choice. they cant give up. the repercussions of giving up are just too big. too big that they cant afford it.

not that i was going to give up on a trivial thing such as faxing, but it just occurred to me that some people just dont have a choice but to keep going.
